Every year we conduct many tests for our customers, either within our own facilities or in relevant laboratories when needed. Many of these tests are public and can be sent to you on request..

We often use independent testing laboratories to ensure objective tests where different materials / finished products are included. We also have a long history of testing and certification of our products from independent laboratories such as SINTEF, OEK, UL / CSA, NEMKO and DNV.

The challenge for the user of contact materials is to find a solution that is practical to use in addition to be documented. We know that very few electrical installations are in closed environments where only one make or type of product is available. This is why Abiko conduct cross-over tests using different types of material and makes to find solutions that are safe, convenient and possible to certify. If a solution must be tailor made then we can most probably produce it for you – normally quite quickly!
